Here’s some really beautiful hula from this year’s Merrie Monarch from Hilo, Hawaii.
Then look at this amazing stuff from last year.

The Enquirer - Savor Portland’s weirdness
There’s nothing really new in this article, but it gives a very good overview of Portland’s high points for those who know nothing about our city.

I wanted to add to this a video link so people can see what is in the Armory. The video tells a brief history of the Armory via a project called the Historoscope, an interactive peep show cabinet, which is a permanet installation in the lobby among other informative interactive exhibits all designed by Portland’s Second Story Interactive Studios.
Why are they there? Seems pointless to me. What other words use a silent (D)?
I’d like to know what you come up with. Reblog, then keep it quiet.

Welcome to my world, Evernote. I think you and I are going to get along great.
Since I’m not on Leopard, I’m gonna save this for later. Wow.
Integration between the Apple Pro Apps is really shitty.
For instance: When in FCP, when exporting an AIF file to be edited/layered/effects/etc. in Soundtrack Pro, if you are overwriting a file with a file name that already exists even though it is a file not being used by STP or any open program, you are normally asked, “Do you want to overwrite? Yes/No…” Click Yes and you are told, “File already exists” Duh! I know that AND you told me that to confirm AND I gave you permission to do what I told you to do.
So then I have to go to the finder, find the file ‘that already exists’ delete it then go back to FCP and export again.
Further, STP for some reason doesn’t keep track that you deleted the old file and (I think) uses what it has in RAM to reference the old file, thus if you were editing thinking you were working with the newly exported file and then went to export your finished project, you get a file that has the OLD deleted file instead.
Hey Apple. Instead of making stupid shit like a Macbook Air or Apple TV or Time Machine, try fixing your PRO applications so that they work.
FAIL.
Big Time. So… ummm, I made this tumblr in hopes of archiving other people’s muxtapes because, as my description says, “I like to worry” I am a worrier not a worrior as most polynesians are known for being. Which I’m not. I’m a pacific islander or a salty pan fried fish-eating filipino. Part of the circle of fire.
This fire was put out quickly after realizing, because I didn’t think things through (as usual), that muxtapes are usually pretty long, longer than 8 minutes. That tumblr allows 10mb per mp3 upload per day. That that that I’d have to break things up into sections like a real mix tape. No, I can’t recompress them to a lower quality because that is… just dumb.
Silly kids, don’t copy that floppy.
That was so epic.
Also I couldn’t help but replace the words, “Don’t copy that floppy.” with “Stop making babies.” If people keep making babies, then a black hole will open up and lots of poop will come rushing out of that black hole into another black hole and it’ll go back and forth, forever.
